GEHS junior has many interesting hobbies including video games, building models, and playing Dungeons and Dragons along with interests around history and wars.
Brendan Haff has a ton of hobbies and interests that make him an enjoyable person to be around. He is very passionate about every single one. Two of Haff’s hobbies include building model kits and playing video games.
“I like to play video games or build models,” Haff said.
Haff’s first favorite hobby is building model kits. He’s assembled and painted multiple different models but he by far has a favorite model that he’s proud to have built himself.
“So I’ve built a Sherman Tank. It’s pretty cool, I’d say,” said Haff. “It took about a week to assemble and paint. I’m pretty proud of it.”
Aside from building his model kits, Haff also enjoys video games. He enjoys relaxing by playing a good casual game or getting his heart racing with an up-beat fast paced game.
“I have two favorites,” Haff said. “I like to play casual games and I play first person-shooters, something to get the heart pumping.”
Aside from having thighs he enjoys a lot, something Haff doesn’t enjoy is school, but something that makes it a little more tolerable is history class.
“I love it because it’s something I’m actually kind of interested in,” Haff said.
Specifically Haff enjoys learning about wars in history class. This also goes along with his model kits considering he has built models such as tanks.
“I usually like to learn about wars,” Haff said. ”Like WWI and WWII.”
Aside from history class, Haff doesn’t care much for school. Even though he isn’t a big fan of school, something that brings up his spirit are his friends.
“I like that I get to hang out with my friends and I just hate school,” Haff said.
Something that Haff and his friends enjoy doing is playing Dungeons and Dragons. If it weren’t for his friends, he wouldn’t have joined the tabletop gaming club where they play Dungeons and Dragons after school.
“My group of friends all joined so I joined and it’s been fun,” Haff said.
Haff’s favorite thing about Dungeons and Dragons is being able to create a character that he gets to pretend to be. He thinks it’s very fun and the best part of the game.
“What I like is the roleplaying and making someone and trying to be them,” Haff said. “It’s fun.”
Haff has many interests and hobbies that are very intriguing, varying from dungeons and dragons to learning about wars in history class and overall he is a very interesting person to talk to.
