As school started back up, there were many questions. One of those questions was if there will be any finals this year.

“Like last year, there is no official “Finals” schedule designed for multiple exams,” Mr. Bell said. “So, therefore, there is no opt-out option. Teachers may give a culminating activity, but the semester will conclude with a Blue and White day.”

So the short answer is no, there will not be “Finals” this year. Mr. Bell is also unsure when or if Finals will return to GEHS.

“Honestly, I’m unsure. I know the opt-out option that rewards good attendance was popular with students”. Mr. Bell said. “But perhaps not having a traditional Finals schedule trumps the good vibes of the opt-out. Students”

GEHS hasn’t had finals since the 2019 school year, and it will stay the same this year.
