The theater program just finished their showings of Shrek The Musical last Saturday, and there was a lot to reflect on afterwards.
Joseph Patterson, the Theater director, thought that Shrek The Musical went great and that everyone who was a part of the musical did amazing.
“I think my favorite part of most shows, and of Shrek, is the opening night,” Patterson said. “It’s when everything comes together, and it’s a full complete picture.”
While some changes had to be made to some pieces of the set these minor changes didn’t affect the overall performance a ton.
“I’m so proud of where the musical ended and where all the students put all the work into,” Patterson said.
There were also things to be learned from Shrek, such as managing the space available on the stage and time.
Overall, Shrek The Musical was a success and there are many more performances to look forward to this school year.
