Hannah Louvau is the new Freshman English teacher here at GEHS. Previously she taught in Grandview and Belton, but after she got married she decided to move to the “dark side” and teach on the Kansas side.
“Before I came here I taught in Grandview and Belton,” Louvau said. “I got married and I decided to teach Kansas side, moved to the dark side, if you will.”
She is a co-sponsor of GSA which is a club that provides students LGBTQ+ students a safe space to be themselves without worrying about what others may say.
Her goals for GSA this year are to do a lot of cool events and get some fun fundraising.
Some of her favorite things include Asian food, the Percy Jackson Series, and her two cats.
“Oh, I’ve also got two cats. One’s fat and one’s dumb,” she said.
Louvau also hopes to, in the near future, start a book club
“I’ve thought about starting a book club, but maybe not this year… maybe next year,” Louvau said.
