Judge Antonin Scalia passes away

Supreme Court judge Antonin Scalia died of natural causes on Saturday, February 13th. Scalia, 79, was visiting a resort in West Texas when he died in his sleep of apparent heart failure. Despite a flurry of conspiracy theories and the refusal to perform an autopsy, foul play has been ruled out as a cause of death.

Medical expert and extremely qualified mortician Donald Trump hinted quite strongly that he believed there may have been foul play involved in his death.
“They say they found a pillow on his face, which is a pretty unusual place to find a pillow,” Trump said according to CNN.com.

Despite these claims real medical examiners who know what they are doing have come forth saying they know the difference between someone dying in their sleep and being suffocated by a pillow.

The death was turned into a political move within hours with each party putting in their two cents on who they think should nominate a new Supreme Court justice. Republicans think the decision should be held off until the election is over and a new president is in office. Democrats believe that Obama is still in office for another year and therefore has authority to make the decision.

There are dozens of cases that have yet to be reviewed upon by the court and opinions of the court that Scalia was sanctioned to write. The court cannot function with eight judges and will have to find a replacement sooner or later. Scalia was always extremely strict and stuck to what the constitution said. Hopefully the new judge will adhere to the same way of thinking.

Scalia will be missed by his friends, family, and nation.
