Music helps people feel good, feel free, and feel relaxed. It can help people escape rough situations like losing a loved one. One musician who helps Julian feel at peace is Frank Ocean.
“His voice is glorious and just chill,” Julian said.
Music for people, no matter the genre, can flip a switch that makes you happy. Certain songs trigger certain feelings in people more than others, in this case, the song Pyramids gives Julian a good vibe.
“It changes the vibe halfway through and gets better,” Julian said.
When you think about the type of music you like or the artist you like, it usually stems from the people around you. Most of the time, people like the same type of music that your family likes, or that their friends like.
“My dad put me on Mac Miller and Drake. He used to put me asleep to Drake,” Julian said. “I found Frank Ocean from my friends”.

“Music makes me feel like I’m him, like I’m nonchalant, and it helps me feel chill,” Julian said

“During school, work, or when I’m walking around,” Julian said.
Although everyone likes music not everyone likes the same type of music. There are so many different types of music like rap, rock, religion, country, R&B, and much more.
“I have liked R&B and alternative R&B since I was a wee lad because it’s chill,” Julian said.
When I think of music I think of my playlist, a lot of people have playlists and they are pretty long.
“Around 80 songs, 5 hours long,” Julian said
