Upcoming Season
This season is expected to be the largest track team in GEHS’ history.
“We are expecting to have again the largest track team we’ve ever had, we may have somewhere between 220 and 250 kids on the team,” McGee said.
Track and Field is a no-cut sport, meaning anyone can join without the need to try out or the worry of being rejected for the team.
“We are a non-cut sport so that’s one of the reasons we have such high numbers…” McGee said.
Track is a way to push yourself and it is very accessible to everyone due to the amount of events offered.
This year’s track season starts on Monday, February 26, be sure to join if interested.
