Friday the Blazer football team fell short to Blue Valley North with a final score of 42-7.

This game in particular was previewed on KMBC and the school was awarded $500.

Being a home game, the boys in blue had many fans supporting them. The team put up a tough battle but was down 28-0 at half.

At halftime, the Homecoming court was introduced and Seniors Abbie Lane and Gage Bacon came home with the crowns.

In the fourth quarter, the game was interrupted by a streaker running across the field.

This did not distract the boys however, Junior Griffin Johns scored a touchdown that put us on the board.

Senior Austin George said he was very disappointed in the boys’ efforts on the field.
