Doing a lot of activities inside and outside of school can be challenging. That’s the challenge Breanna Volo has decided to take on.
Volo has been here for three years and has been on the color guard for three years.
“This will be my third marching season, and my third winter season will be this upcoming November,” Volo said
Volo has enjoyed color guard and all the things they’ve learned.
“I enjoy the community of it,” Volo said. “I enjoy bonding with the team and learning new skills. It’s definitely something different than we would normally figure.”
Many people call it a day with only being involved in one thing at their school, but not Volo
“I was involved with FCA a little bit,” Volo said.
Being involved in school is good, but few find a way to get involved with their community
“I’m also involved with my church a lot,” Volo said. “I actually just applied to be on our worship team and singing.”
People close to us have a direct effect on what we do in life.
“So my mom was on the worship team and then she had to quit just for health reasons,” Volo said. “But I grew up going to their Wednesday night practices and watching them, and so I thought I’d wanna do it too.”
The school also has an impact on the student.
“I love our music education program,” Volo said. “I really enjoy all of the teachers that I’ve met. They all want you to succeed. I love Friday night lights. Friday Night Lights is probably one of my best experiences.”
