The school has a lot of new staff members this year and one of them is Abby Henson, the new lead secretary here at GEHS.
“I got the opportunity and I was at home and I have kids in the school district and so working
and being on their same schedule was a great place,” Henson said.
Henson went to K-State and has degrees in kinesiology and in athletic training.
“I’ve been an athletic trainer in a school before and so this was something that was new and different for me to try,” Henson said.
Henson is enjoying working with the other office staff and is excited to learn about the traditions here.
“[I’m] just excited to be here and be a part of the school and the district in a different way than as a parent on the outside,” Henson said.
