Whataburger is a restaurant that is in 13 locations and one of those locations is Gardner. It is going to be open next year and it’s located on Gardner road, catty-corner from QuikTrip.

Gardner is also getting a T.J. Maxx and a Five Below where the old Price Chopper was. It was supposed to be a Planet Fitness, a Five Below and an axe throwing place but it got changed.

It’s good that we are getting new additions to our town because our town is growing and we’re adding new restaurants and shopping stores where we would have to drive about 30 to 40 mins to go shopping or to eat at. Now we don’t have to drive that far; it will be right here in town. We have never ever had a T.J. Maxx or a Five Below in Gardner.

Getting a T.J. Maxx and a Five Below and a Whataburger is incredibly amazing because our small town is experiencing significant growth, with new developments and amenities. Also with all of these new restaurants and stores developing in Gardner, we are going to start to attract more and more people to our town and our population will also continue to grow and grow. I think that T.J. Maxx will draw more people to our town because the other closets T.J. Maxx is in Overland Park and I also think it will draw more people because T.J. Maxx sells clothing, shoes, handbag’s, jewelry, and home goods.

My opinion on getting a Whataburger is that some other restaurants are going to have some competition with one another. For example, they are building the Whataburger right across the street from Culver’s. I also think that it’s also going to bring more people because people love to eat and who wouldn’t want to eat at a good and new restaurant that’s right here in Gardner.
