On Wednesday September 27, six of the C team players had the chance to participate in an all-day tournament at Spring Hill against five other teams. The girls showed great improvement with Abbi Trinborn going 2-3 and Lodyn Lee going 3-2 in singles. In the doubles, Kate Nedderson and Jessica Deer went 2-3 and then Malia Fox and Abi Droge went 3-2. Many of their matches came down to tiebreakers and ended with a 10 out of 20 record just one point behind second place.
On Thursday Night, the rest of the team competed at home against Topeks High, the girls brought on their A-game and racked up some wins. Ariana Madrid won 6 to 4, Clara Schneller won 6 to 3, Sydney Palmer won 6 to 1, and both Hollie McNanney and Adele Hodges dominated with a win 6 to 0 in the singles division. In doubles, the girls won every match against Topeka, with teams including Camila Castaneda and Sage Peterson, Sydney Palmer, and Hollie McNanney, and team Emma Rohrer and Addi Beruan achieving winning scores of 6 to 1. Bringing it all in a win by Adele Hodges and Aiana Madrid with a winning score of 6 to 0.
