Senior Marissa Gray signed with University of Kansas in order to join the women’s rowing team on Wednesday, December 10.
“I have only rowed one time, and I got lucky enough to get a scholarship.” Gray said.
Several members of Gray’s family has attended KU. Gray said she is excited to continue her education there. She plans to double major in nursing and Spanish and minor in chemistry.
“I am thankful for the support of my friends, family, and trainer Mark,” Gray said. “I have also found a lot of strength in my faith.”
